It's TIME to begin DEMOLITION at our Freedom Center, the former Deja Vu strip club. By tearing down the old, we are making way for something new—a space where trafficking survivors can find healing, hope, and restoration. Helping Captives ministry is looking for VOLUNTEERS for the dates: Feb. 13 - Feb. 22, 2025. Time: Day begins at 9 AM and ends at 2 PM.
- Tasks: Tearing down and removing drywall, pulling nails and staples, hauling debris, pulling carpet, and handling other demolition duties as volunteers are able.
- What to Wear: Clothes and sturdy shoes you don’t mind getting dirty.
- Gear Provided: We’ll supply gloves, masks, and goggles, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
- Helping Captives will provide a light lunch, but you're welcome to bring your own if you'd prefer.
- Waiver Required: All volunteers must sign a waiver before participating. We’ll have them available when you arrive. Sign up is required.
