Diabetes 101: Now What?

This 4-week class is designed to help you understand your diabetes (DM type 2) and how to manage it successfully for a happy and healthy future.  This class is also appropriate for anyone diagnosed with pre-diabetes or insulin resistance.  Each night there will be food samples and a cooking demonstration. Following the class, the instructor will be available four Thursday evenings to meet with class participants at no additional fee.  Handouts provided. No additional materials required.

Instructor: Tamra Wertz, RN, BSN. Tamra has been practicing Emergency and Case Management nursing for over 21 years. She has special training for managing Complex, Transplant, Cancer, ESRD, and Pain Management cases. She has additional education in DM, CAD, HF, COPD, and Rare Disease/Autoimmune diseases. 

Class Dates:  Thursday evenings - January 17, 24, 31 and February 7.  (Additional support on Thursday evenings for the following 4 weeks.)

Class Limit: 20

Cost: $5
