As a non-commercial station, Shine 104.9 receives a percentage of its annual income from listeners who choose to support us through their business. In return, you’ll hear us thank your business on the air by mentioning your name, address, products and/or services.

What do I receive as a result of my support of Shine 104.9?
All Shine 104.9 Ministry Partners receive 'thank you' announcements on the radio as a result of their support. The number of announcements is dependent on the level of contribution and the length of the agreement. The benefits of business support are available for non-profit organizations and commercial businesses alike. In addition, the cost of Ministry Partnership is considered a tax deductible gift to the station.
This sounds a lot like advertising…is it?
No…and yes. In the strictest sense, the FCC says that Ministry Partnership announcements are not advertising but, they achieve similar, if not better, results for those who wish to use them to market a product or service.
