Back to School Block Party and Resource Fair

Spokane Youth for Christ’s annual Back to School Resource Fair serves over 500 individuals from across Spokane County, especially families from under-resourced neighborhoods. This event meets both immediate and long-term needs as students prepare for a new school year.

Each attendee receives a meal, school supplies, hygiene kits, and access to free haircuts and sports physicals. Beyond these resources, the fair builds connections to vital services through partnerships with nonprofits, healthcare providers, and other community organizations—creating a one-stop experience that supports families well beyond the day of the event.
