This Christmas, The Salvation Army Spokane is seeking 6,500 gifts for local vulnerable newborns to senior citizens. To help meet this need, The Salvation Army has Angel Trees at seven local retail stores through December 24. Each Angel Tree has pre-labeled gift tags hanging on the branches. Sponsors can take one or more tags, purchase the suggested gift(s) and bring it back unwrapped to the same Angel Tree. Businesses, families, individuals, churches, schools, and organizations can help by visiting a Salvation Army Angel Tree at the following locations during store hours beginning November 15, unless noted otherwise:

SPOKANE LOCATIONS

• JC Penny: 4730 N. Division St. (Opens Nov 26)

• Walmart: 5025 E. Sprague Ave. • Walmart: 2301 W. Wellesley Ave.

• North 40: 8307 E. Trent Ave.

SPOKANE VALLEY LOCATIONS

• JC Penny: 14730 E. Indiana Ave. (Opens Nov 26)

• Walmart: 15727 E. Broadway Ave.

AIRWAY HEIGHTS LOCATIONS

• Walmart: 1221 S. Hayford Rd.

• Amazon The Salvation Army has set up an Amazon Wish List which can be found here.

 In an effort to allow everyone the opportunity to give back (even when shopping in the stores isn’t the best option for you), a WISH LIST on Amazon has been created that’s as easy as a few clicks. The items you select & purchase will be sent directly to The Salvation Army Spokane and distributed this Christmas.If you don’t have time to shop, feel free to send a check or money order made out to The Salvation Army Spokane (Memo Line: For Salvation Army Christmas Gifts in Spokane) at 222 E. Indiana Ave., Spokane, WA 99207. Gift Card donations are also greatly appreciated.
