Valentine's Day New Sock Drive

This is the 24th year of the Valentine's New Sock Drive for the homeless in Spokane County. Over 40,000 new pairs of socks have been donated and distributed since then. Foot disease and fungus are rampant during these late winter months...especially when one wears the same pair of socks for 7-10 days and has no warm shoes or waterproof boots. Your donation is matched so when you donate one pair, two are given to one of the many local shelters and organizations. Just imagine how good, warm socks feel on tired feet. This act of kindness means so much.

NEW socks (preferably tube socks) will be gathered by Tuesday, March 5. Contact Barb at bbrock@ewu.edu to schedule a sock pickup or to get a copy of this flyer.

All donations will be matched and delivered in March.
